Easter Services & activities.

On Palm Sunday (28th March at 10.30am) we will begin our service of Holy Communion with a Procession.  Everyone is invited to meet outside the Cemetery Chapel.  We invite all to bring some greenery (branch etc).  Fr John will bless our palm crosses and the greenery and then in a crowd-like procession, waving our greenery and singing heartily, we will make ‘our entry’ into the chapel reminding us of the entry Jesus made into Jerusalem, albeit riding on a donkey.  Join the journey and watch the story of Holy Week unfold.

On Palm Sunday afternoon (3.30-5.30pm) there will be a Children’s Workshop at the Chapel when they can learn informally about the meaning of Holy Week. Further details:  Marjorie Arthurs 952 112847 or marjoriearthurs@hotmail.co.u k.

On Maundy Thursday (1st April at 6pm) Fr John will celebrate Holy Communion when once again we commemorate the last supper in the upper room with Jesus and his disciples.

On Good Friday (2nd April at 2pm) we invite you to join us for a time of Quiet Reflection when Caroline Macfarlane, Reader, will help us to focus on The Cross using the stillness and peace of the chapel.

Easter Day (4th April at 10.30am) we will once again celebrate the joy of the resurrection with a service of Holy Communion and you are warmly invited to come along and share in the celebration.
