New Year’s Eve in Coin, What a great night!....
The rain stopped, the clouds cleared and New Year’s Eve was clear and bright - just right for a party in the streets of Coin! Thousands turned up in fancy dress for the most colourful fiesta of the year with visitors from all over Spain and beyond coming for what is becoming known as one of the best new year festivals around.
Some costumes were home-made, others professionally put together but the most impressive aspect of the whole event is the good nature of the crowd and the great atmosphere generated for the whole night. It is busy, it is very crowded, you do get sprayed with cava, silly string, fake snow and glitter but you don’t see any trouble and everyone enjoys the event.
